India: Karma Group has announced the addition of Karma Golden Camp in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, spread across 3.5 acres of North Western India’s Thar desert.

Karma Golden Camp features 22 luxury safari tents, 10 cottages with a private pool, along with a restaurant, spa, children’s area and outdoor amphitheatre.

Activities on offer range from dune safaris, parasailing, and quad biking across the desert, as well as sunset cocktails, star gazing, and private dinners.

Close by there’s a number of sites to visit such as UNESCO World Heritage Site Jaisalmer Fort, the Jain Temples, and Desert National Park.

John Spence, Karma Group’s founder and chairman, said: “Our pledge to members and clients is to consistently deliver and create experiences and I believe this will be a unique one.”

The property joins Karma Group’s portfolio of more than 40 hotels and resorts. In the past six months, Karma has acquired four resorts, two of which include Karma Seven Lakes in India and Karma Salford Hall in the UK.  An additional seven are under development, and the group recently announced it will debut in Spain next year.

In 2021, Karma Group introduced a series of new offerings including a private member’s club and a staycation-centred brand Karma Kasa.
