Ireland: Dublin boutique property The Dean has announced the opening of a sister location in Cork this December.
The new hotel will be situated in Horgan’s Quay, intending to follow the template set by its namesake.
Current plans have the hotel comprise 114 bedrooms, including such amenities as 20 ft sq SupeRooms, Irish munchie boxes and Grafton Barber Toiletries. Prices will start at €450-a-night for suites and €890 for the rooftop penthouse, which features a private bar, football table and views of the River Lee.
Plans are also in the works for a sixth-floor rooftop restaurant, a lobby barista bar and a boutique gym facility.
This represents the latest acquisition for Press-Up Entertainment Group, who own The Dean, The Devlin in Ranelagh and The Mayson on North Wall Quay. It operates over 28 businesses across Ireland, employing over 1,000.
Other Irish property developments include the Trinity Townhouse, which relaunched this July, and Number 31, which has been given a Jazz Age update.
