UK: Boutique Hotel News (BHN) will be at this year’s Independent Hotel Show (IHS), 4-5 October at Olympia London as a media partner and exhibitor.

Editor of Boutique Hotel News, Eloise Hanson, will moderate a session called Blurred Lines: Changing the Hotel Framework, at the Innovation Stage on 5 October. She will be joined in conversation with James Foice, chief executive of The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers; Toby Guest, director and co-founder, Your Apartment; Samantha Sherida, commercial director, Locke Living; and Richard Townsend, commercial director, The Institute of Directors.

The winners of the Independent Hotelier award and GM of the Future award will also be announced at the Innovation Stage on 4 October. Last month, the shortlist was revealed and includes six nominees for each category.

At the Innovation Stage, in partnership with eviivo, hoteliers and hospitality leaders will discuss 2021 trends and issues – from rebuilding the urban hotel market, to destination gastronomy, to navigating the return of the corporate traveller.

Other interactive opportunities at the show includes a new addition The Tech Solutions Bar in partnership with HOSPA. The aim is to enable hoteliers to seek out expert advice on solving technology pain points. The Social Business Space acts as a meeting point, and The Lobby, presented by IH Connects, is an expanded area for networking.

Across the two days, BHN will be based at stand 1372. Come and say hello and register to attend here.

Be in the know.
