Worldwide: Hotel management company Life House will now become the preferred parter of Leading Hotels of the World (LWH).
The partnership will see the sales, marketing and distribution power of LWH paired with Life House’s operating platform, including its proprietary revenue management and marketing system.
Life House has managed one of Leading Hotels’ historic properties The Wheatleigh since 2020. In total, Life House has over 60 properties open or under development across the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada, which includes both independent and Life House branded hotels.
LWH is a collection of independent luxury hotels, comprising more than 400 properties in over 80 countries.
Chris Walker, SVP and chief commercial officer at LWH, said: “The Wheatleigh is a great example of the value that Life House brings to independent hotels, driving profitability for the owner, and elevating the guest experience through technology. We are excited to find new opportunities together that combine Leading Hotels’ standards of excellence with Life House’s innovative platform designed with today’s traveler in mind.”
Rani Gharbie, SVP of acquisitions and head of urban growth at Life House, said: “We are honoured to work with The Leading Hotels of the World to usher in a new era of high-end hospitality. Our technology platform has proven to adapt to any hotel, including five-star properties like the Wheatleigh, and we are looking forward to growing our luxury portfolio in North America and beyond.”
Both companies are seeking opportunities in drive-to-leisure and urban core markets within North America.
