UK: Hospitality technology company OYO has launched Managed by OYO in the UK with plans to add 20 hotels across the country.
As part of the programme, OYO will handle all operational aspects of the hotels including guest bookings, housekeeping, maintenance, and more. No minimum entry criteria is necessary (such as the number and category of rooms), and flexible terms ranging from three years to 15 can be negotiated.
OYO currently runs five hotels in London, Aberdeen, Sheffield, Cardiff and Bristol as a pilot of the Managed by OYO programme. The company plans to add an additional 20 in target cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
Gautam Swaroop, CEO of OYO International said: “We commit to taking really good care of the hotel properties. Hotel owners can rest assured that the management contract terms will be fully adhered to, and the maintenance and upkeep will be impeccable, which will not just preserve, but enhance the value of the asset.”
Puneet Yadav, head of OYO UK added: “Day to day operations, upkeep and management of a hotel can be a daunting task. Managed by OYO, our newest programme will ensure that hotel owners get return on their real estate investment and allow professionals to manage the hotel.”
In total, there are 160 small hotels in over 65 cities in the UK under OYO. Globally, the company has presence in 35 countries.
In addition to its hotel division, OYO owns a vacations homes business in Europe called OYO Vacation Homes which operates brands such as DanCenter and Belvilla.
