UK: CAM Ventures has been launched by Will Macpherson with the aim of supporting hospitality talent throughout Scotland.
CAM Ventures is designed to help small businesses, hospitality enterprises and individuals negatively impacted by Covid-19 to establish themselves in local communities.
Potential small business owners are encouraged to submit ideas for investment via the company’s website. These can range from full business plans to idea-led submissions.
Speaking about the launch, Macpherson said: “CAM Ventures exists to break open the perceived ‘inner-circle’ of hospitality investment and support. We wanted to develop a strong support structure and make it available to any business that needs it. We are approachable, informal and fun but do not allow that to underestimate our worth and the impact we can have on your business.”
Macpherson is also offering organisations consultancy services, focussed on operational efficiencies, food and beverage development, as well as other commercial strategies.

Macpherson has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, starting as a kitchen porter and, prior to launching CAM Ventures, held general manager roles within globally branded hotels.
In those 25 years Macpherson has worked in country house hotels, village hotels, country pubs and large branded hotels in major cities, including pre-opening and launching.
