Raines announces rebrand and expanded services

US: Hospitality management, development and investment group Raines (formerly Raines Hospitality) has announced an updated name and visual identity, two business divisions and new team members.

Led by Grey Raines and David Tart, the company features an array of properties in its portfolio including boutique hotels The Foundry Hotel in Asheville, NC, and Hotel Florence in Florence, SC. In total, Raines manages 19 hotels throughout the south east of North America.

The company offers a range of in-house services, including investment, operations management, development, revenue management, sales and marketing, and eCommerce.

Speaking about the rebrand, Raines explained: “A primary goal of this brand launch and overhaul was for Raines to achieve greater volume and scale, allowing for maximum effectiveness and efficiency within our development and operations. We are looking forward to expanding our footprint to encompass more than just hospitality, for which we’ve been known in the past.”

As part of the rebrand, Raines has introduced a new division called Woven by Raines. It will focus on the development and service approach of boutique hotels, offering branding and marketing tactics, F&B programming, and more. Leading this new division is executive vice president Gavin Philipp.

Raines also established another division called Array last year. It will focus on commercial real estate and office development, offering brokerage and leasing, development, and property management functionalities. The division will be lead by president Chris Scott and Rhett Spencer, development coordinator and broker-in-charge.

Managing partner at Raines, Tart, said: “Our team will continue to do what we do every day – effectively develop and manage the leading hotels in the markets where we work. The biggest new ‘change’ is our direction and opportunity for growth. Despite the current challenges in our industry, it is an exciting time to be part of Raines.”
