Gavin Taylor

UK: London-based hotel owner and operator, Clermont Hotel Group, has promoted Gavin Taylor to the company’s chief executive officer.

Taylor first joined Clermont Hotel Group in 2017 as chief financial officer, where he led the group’s finance, procurement and IT functions. Speaking about his appointment, Taylor said: “The past four years have been incredibly rewarding as we’ve seen the group go from strength to strength. It’s a great honour to have the opportunity to take the reins as CEO and lead our team on this exciting next step in the Clermont Hotel Group journey. I very much look forward to continue to ensure we deliver extraordinary experiences and services for our guests across our portfolio of 17 hotels in London.”

Clermont Hotel Group comprises over 5,000 bedrooms across brands including The Clermont, Hard Rock Hotel London and Thistle. The company recently completed a rebranding from glh (Great London Hospitality), and BHN spoke to Jonathon Liu, chief commercial officer, to learn more.
