US: Leiya Cohen has been appointed complex general manager of the Dream Midtown hotel and The Time New York by Dream Hotel Group, effective immediately.
With more than a decade of experience, Cohen’s career spans several senior management positions. She’s held key roles at Millennium Premier New York Times Square, and The London New York City (now known as the Conrad New York Midtown).
Cohen joined Dream Hotel Group (DHG) in 2014 as director of front office at The Time New York. She was later promoted to hotel manager and oversaw the redesign of guest rooms by Rockwell Group, as well as the addition of LeGrande cocktail lounge and Serafina restaurant.
In 2019, Cohen was appointed general manager at Dream Midtown. She will now oversee the day-to-day management and operations of both properties.

Dream Midtown comprises 220 guest rooms and suites. Amenities include several venues in partnership with TAO Group Hospitality, such as the multi-level rooftop lounge PHD Terrace; subterranean FISHBOWL bar, and The Rickey cocktail lobby bar. It recently underwent a $20 million renovation which saw the addition of its GuestHouse – a three-bedroom Presidential Suite.
The Time New York by Dream Hotel Group is a 193-room property with three food and beverage venues.
