UK: Mike Lashmar will join Luxury Family Hotels as finance director and Leanne Cleaver as the group’s head of marketing.
In his role, Lashmar will work alongside managing director Simon Maguire to oversee the portfolio of five luxury properties across the South West of England and Suffolk.
He joins with more than 20 years of experience having most recently served as group finance director at The Ageas Bowl, a Hilton hotel and golf resort. Prior to this, Lashmar headed up the finance team at Harbour Hotels and helped grow the group from five hotels to 13.
Speaking about the appointment, Lashmar said: “I’m delighted to have been appointed my new role as finance director at Luxury Family Hotels at such an important time for the business. With a solid background in hospitality, I have a sound understanding of managing financial operations across some of the country’s most established hotel groups and look forward to utilising my skills and driving success in 2022 and beyond.”
Cleaver brings over 12 years of experience to her marketing position, having worked in multiple senior roles with a range of luxury, lifestyle-led UK hotel collections.
Previously, Cleaver helped develop the UK’s first fully integrated online spa booking platform RevSpa, and managed multiple website development projects from conception through to delivery.
Commenting on her appointment, Cleaver said: “I’m thrilled to have been appointed group head of marketing at Luxury Family Hotels. With five beautiful properties operating across the South of England and a whole host of investments and projects in the pipeline, it’s such an exciting time to be joining the business and I look forward to working closely with my new team to bring new ideas to the table in 2022.”
The announcements come as Luxury Family Hotels reveal a further programme of investment for Fowey Hall. Works are due to completed by spring 2022 and will include 24 new bedrooms, a new outdoor swimming pool and a total re-landscaping of the grounds and driveway.
