Yan promoted to CEO of Dynasty Hotel Group

New Zealand: Dynasty Hotel Group, which operates Heritage Hotel Management, has promoted Graham Yan from chief financial officer to chief executive officer.

Based in Auckland, he will be responsible for the overall management of Dynasty Hotel Group (DHG), overseeing its hotel management and property investment portfolio. One of its management brands is the Heritage Boutique Collection, which has added several properties to its portfolio this year.

Yan will report to the DHG managing director Jeffrey Tang, supported by the newly appointed deputy managing director Ho Chai Kun, who has also recently been promoted from executive director of the group.

“Graham’s proven leadership skills, strong business ethics, personal integrity, extensive relationships with all stakeholders, and his experience and insights into the Group and the industry place him well as CEO to further develop DHG’s vision of growth and sustained future performance,” said Jeffrey Tang.

“The role is exciting and challenging. I look forward to continuing to develop Heritage Hotels as a pre-eminent hotel group, developing our key asset – the members of our ‘Heritage family’ and leading our team to grow the hotel portfolio throughout Australasia with the Heritage, CityLife and Heritage Boutique Collection brands,” said Yan.
