UK: Management company RBH Hospitality Management has appointed Beatriz Orta as operations director, succeeding Louisa Green who became MD in January.

Orta rejoins RBH from her recent role as general manager at the Canopy by Hilton London City, having held a previous general manager position within the RBH portfolio for four years.

She will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of upscale full-service properties alongside a variety of branded and independent hotels, including The Gantry London, CURIO Collection by Hilton, Principal York, The Met Hotel Leeds and the newly opened AC Hotel by Marriott Glasgow.

Orta said: “I’m thrilled to be back working with the dynamic RBH senior team and embrace the opportunity to build upon the company’s excellent reputation with owners, staff and the wider industry. RBH is on a growth trajectory, and I am looking forward to harnessing its strategic vision and taking our hotels to the next level of excellence in operational delivery and performance.”

CEO at RBH, David Hart, said: “Beatriz is perfectly placed to take on this role, nurturing the relationships of key stakeholders and profitably driving turnover in the hotels to ensure they maintain a strong position in their competitive markets. Her luxury experience as well as her prior understanding of RBH’s culture and corporate objectives will provide a great foundation for her to excel in our team of operations directors.”
