ADRs are soaring. Factors such as inflation and a series of music/sporting events over the summer have pushed room rates to record highs. Some guests may become price-sensitive, and if the increased rates aren’t accompanied by an improvement in service or amenities, guest satisfaction could suffer. The traditional model of relying solely on room rates is no longer enough.

You will learn:

• Creative ways to convert communal areas, rooftops, back-of-house spaces into revenue-generating areas (eg. coworking spaces, fitness studios, club memberships, pop-up retail)

• Exploring ancillary revenue streams beyond traditional room rates and services (eg. curated experiences, subscriptions, partnerships with local businesses), and strategies for success

• How technology and guest data can be best leveraged to personalise offerings and drive upsell opportunities

• Identifying the most impactful KPIs to track revenue per guest and measure success beyond occupancy rates (eg. guest satisfaction surveys, F&B revenue per guest, ancillary revenue per stay)
