UK: Lifestyle hospitality company Ennismore and Reuben Brothers, owner of Mondrian Shoreditch, will relocate the brand to a “bigger location” in central London.

The Mondrian Shoreditch London, residing in the former Curtain hotel, opened in 2021. It currently operates with 120 keys, Dani Garcia’s BiBo restaurant, and the Blue Marlin Ibiza London private members’ club.

Ennismore and Reuben Brothers have jointly decided to move the Mondrian brand to a central London site, housed in a “bigger location, including a higher room count”. No details have yet been revealed.

Chadi Farhat, brand COO of Mondrian at Ennismore, said: “Since opening Mondrian Shoreditch, we have been overwhelmed with the response from guests, locals, and industry. Building on our successes and achievements in Shoreditch, we look forward to working with the incredible team and our partners at Reuben Brothers to finalise and announce our new London home soon. Stay tuned for the new chapter in Mondrian’s journey.”

Nikola Reid, on behalf of Reuben Brothers, said: “We are thrilled to be finding a new home for the Mondrian brand in central London and look forward to continuing our great partnership with Ennismore. This collaboration underscores our joint commitment to delivering unparalleled hospitality offerings while leveraging Ennismore’s expertise to unlock new opportunities and elevate our global footprint.”

Virgin Hotels will open its first London property at 45 Curtain Road, the site of the former Mondrian Shoreditch hotel, on 1 August 2024.
