Tunisia: Lifestyle brand Verdi Hotels has launched its first property in North Africa, located on the Tunisian coast.

Marking the brand’s debut resort hotel, Verdi Tunis Beach Resort offers 300 rooms, five restaurants and bars, meeting rooms, two ballrooms, as well as indoor and outdoor pools.

The hotel sits on the shores of Côtes de Carthage and  provides direct access to the beach.

Technological features aimed at providing a frictionless guest experience have also been integrated at Verdi Tunis Beach Resort. This includes ‘Just Walk Out’ technology, which detects when products are taken from or returned to shelves to support self-check out.

Paul Pisani, president, Verdi Hotels, said: “This expansion reflects our commitment to delivering unique and unforgettable experiences tailored to the needs of today’s traveller. At the heart of this expansion is our commitment to embracing and celebrating local culture and we’ll continue to push the boundaries and bring our brand to even more destinations in 2025 and beyond.”

Jonathon Liu, chief commercial officer, Verdi Hotels added: “We are incredibly excited to bring our signature hospitality to Tunis.  Each location reflects our dedication to providing personalised and localised service to our guests – connecting them to the local culture. With our latest addition, Verdi Hotels continues to strengthen its position and broaden its reach to new audiences.”

The Tunisia hotel joins three others – two located in Malta and one in Budapest. Future plans for 2025 include further expansion within Europe and the Middle East.
