China: The PuLi Group has appointed Dean Winter as chief executive officer and Vittorio Dincao as general manager of The PuLi Shanghai as the company prepares to expand.
Winter joins the company after more than 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality. He most recently served as managing director at Swire Hotels.
In his new role, Winter will lead the group’s long-term strategy and expansion plans across Asia and other international markets.
“I’m delighted to join at a time of exciting evolution,” said Winter, “and look forward to meeting the many talented team members that have devoted their careers to this unique organisation. Together we will work to heighten the experience of our guests and establish our hotels as some of the finest expressions of luxury in the industry.”
Dincao brings almost 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, having worked in leadership roles across Europe, the Middle East and Asia with brands such as Galaxy Entertainment Group, Rosewood, and Atlantis Resorts.
The PuLi Shanghai is currently undergoing a renovation across all 229 guest rooms, dining outlets, public areas, and the addition of a new wellness floor. Dincao is set to lead the hotel through the final phases.
“This hotel has always represented a particular kind of luxury, one rooted in restraint, authenticity, and calm,” said Dincao. “My focus will be on nurturing the team, elevating every guest touchpoint, and ensuring The PuLi remains a true sanctuary.”
The PuLi Group plans to operate 20 hotels by 2035 while also growing its branded residences, retail business and online presence. The company said most of its future growth will remain focused across Asia.
