Spain: CoolRooms Hotels has appointed Patricia Martín as general manager of CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha, the group’s flagship luxury boutique hotel in Madrid.
Martín joined the hotel shortly after it opened in 2018 and has since held several positions within the business, including assistant front office manager, front office manager and rooms division manager. Her promotion marks the latest step in her career progression with the company.
She said: “CoolRooms Palacio de Atocha is a place I feel very close to, where I have grown professionally, and I take on this new stage with great responsibility, enthusiasm and dedication. For me, it is a source of pride to lead a team that shares the same way of understanding hospitality: warm, thoughtful, authentic and focused on creating memorable moments.
“Madrid is experiencing an extraordinary moment. It is an open, vibrant city, increasingly recognised internationally for its cultural, gastronomic and hotel offering. The hotel occupies a palace-house that was built in 1852 and which was restored by CoolRooms. It features 34 rooms including two suites with private terraces and outdoor jacuzzis, alongside a restaurant, a courtyard with a pool, and meeting and event space.
