I enjoy my job because…

It provides me with the opportunity to positively impact on peoples lives and make a difference every day.

I find my job challenging because…

If your job was not challenging, then I suspect you are missing opportunities.

My best achievement in business was…

I am very fortunate to have enjoyed many successes throughout my career. My best achievements have been mentoring, coaching and seeing colleagues develop new skills.

My worst mistake in business was…

I’ve made many! However, the worst mistake you can make is not to learn from your mistakes.

What I am yet to accomplish is…

Working in the hotel sector, I have never actually learnt how to physically check a customer into the hotel.

If I could change one thing about myself, it would be….

To constantly set smarter goals for business and personal success.

If I could change one thing about the industry, it would be…

To encourage more school leavers to consider a career in hospitality.

My top three bucket list items are…

Achieve a hole in one in golf; take a flight in a Spitfire; and swim with a whale.

My life philosophy is…

Make improvements not excuses.

My favourite song, book or film is…

A favourite film is ‘Midnight Express’ – intense and suspenseful and not for the faint of heart.

My ideal weekend would be…

A trip to the coast, a walk on the beach, great company and hospitality along with a good night’s rest.

Be in the know.
