The Georges suite

US: Located in Lexington, Virginia, The Georges has expanded its room offering with the inclusive of three, two-bedroom suites at a new location in the area.

The two-bedroom suites all offer a sitting room and king-size bedroom with upholstering from Lee Industries. Amenities include heated floors throughout, walk-in showers, shared patio, and private parking.

Designed by The Georges’ owner, Ann Parker Gottwald, all of the property’s accommodations come with hand-picked furniture and local artwork.

Two of the junior king suites come with a separate parlour, a pull-out sofa bed, and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Each suit sleeps up to four people.

The premier king suite, on the second floor of the building, sleeps up to two people and comes with a separate parlour and bathroom with walk-in shower.

Housed in a new building, it is located in Lexington Historic District on Courthouse Square.

“Our new suites are helping accommodate the significant increase in our occupancy, especially as travel returns to full capacity this summer,” said Gottwald. “Whether looking for an adventurous getaway, a romantic weekend or a luxurious retreat, we are eager to welcome our guests with quality and unique accommodations that exude comfort and luxury in the heart of Lexington’s historic district.”

The Georges, which first opened in 2014, is a 200-year-old inn. It features two F&B venues: Haywood’s Piano Bar and Grill, and TAPS bar.

The Patton Room, the hotel’s event space, can fit up to 200 guests for a standing reception and 140 guests for seated functions.
