UK: Following the launch of Inhabit Southwick Street in 2019, the brand has plans to open a second London hotel in Paddington this autumn.
The new Inhabit property will be set within a series of Georgian townhouses. A wellness area with treatment rooms and a yoga studio will occupy the lower ground floor, with the guest rooms and suites on the upper levels.
In the wellness centre, daily activities including a complimentary morning meditation class will be offered. The hotel will also host a series of regular workshops, lectures and events.
Other activities include bicycle and helmet rental through the hotel’s partnership with Tokyo Bike. Further details about spa treatments are to be announced.
Holland Harvey Architects, Caitlin Henderson Design and art curators Culture A have collaborated with Inhabit across the property’s 159 rooms and communal areas.
As part of its offering, Inhabit has partnered with more than 20 businesses including Self Care Co., Goldfinger, Be For Change, Globechain, Women Returners, Belu Water, Con-Serve, Who Gives a Crap, IQAir and more.
The Southwick property is currently working towards B Corps accreditation, and the upcoming site will seek to do the same.
The debut Inhabit hotel opened in August 2019 and marked the first mindfulness and wellbeing boutique hotel in Paddington at the time.
