NH Hotel Group opens Milano CityLife

NH Collection Milano CityLife

Italy: Part of Minor Hotels, NH Hotel Group has launched its twelfth hotel in the CityLife district of Milan in a former 1930s church.

Following the deconsecration of the Church of Christ the King in 2017, the site was acquired by CLH srl, part of Gruppo Igefi. The building has been restored by architectural design firm QuattroAssociati and now falls under the management of NH Hotel Group as NH Collection Milano CityLife.

Part of the redevelopment includes a 13-storey tower attached to the main church building. The majority of the guest rooms will be located in the tower, whereas the main building serves as the entrance and and lobby lounge.

The four-star hotel now features 185 rooms including 10 duplex suites, a rooftop pool and cocktail bar, main restaurant Tailors led by chef Gabriele Grisolia, six meeting rooms with a capacity of 520 people, and a gym with Technogym equipment.

In Italy, NH Hotel Group manages 57 hotels in 26 cities across three brands: the premium NH Collection, urban located NH Hotels, and design-led nhow Milano.

Within the global portfolio, the group operates more than 500 hotels, including the integration with Minor Hotels.
