Italy: Auberge Resorts Collection has entered a long-term deal with A.S. Roma football club to become the club’s official hotel partner.
The luxury hotel group Auberge Resorts Collection offers 25 hotels and resorts around the world, with a further 10 sites currently in development.
As part of the deal with Roma, the brand’s logo will appear on the back of all match shirts.
“We are delighted to be able to partner with Auberge Resorts Collection,” said Dan Friedkin, president at A.S. Roma. “[We are] uniting two institutions that share a deep desire to create unique emotions and genuine connections with all those who choose to experience what we have to offer.”
The partnership comes as Auberge eyes European expansion. In early 2024, the group will open Collegio Alla Querce in Florence and an additional location in Europe is soon to be announced.
Other football clubs such as Arsenal have also recently announced an official accommodation partner. LABS Group, a web3 real estate company, will list discounted hotel rooms available under a timeshare model for customers to purchase in the form of an NFT. The rooms will be advertised through a digital marketplace called Staynex, which is due to launch early this year.
