US: The Raphael Hotel in Kansas City has won The Autograph Collection’s hotel of the year award.
The Autograph Collection is a portfolio of independent hotels affiliated with Marriott International. The award is based primarily on overall guest satisfaction scores with financial performance as a contributing criteria for the award. The Raphael Hotel finished the year with a 94.4 rating compared to the brand average of 80.7 and finished with double-digit gains in financial operations categories.
The Raphael Hotel also won a 2013 Certificate of Excellence award from TripAdvisor. The certificate is given to the top-performing 10 per cent of all businesses worldwide on TripAdvisor based on reviews from TripAdvisor travellers.
