Worldwide: Paris-based hospitality group Accor has appointed Gilda Perez-Alvarado, currently global CEO of JLL Hotels & Hospitality, as its chief strategy officer.
Perez-Alvarado will assume the role on 1 October 2023 and will be responsible for the group’s global strategy, relations with hotel owners, and overall strategic partnerships. She will report directly to Accor CEO Sébastien Bazin.
Beginning her career at PwC, Perez-Alvarado joined JLL in 2004 and spent nearly 20 years with the company. In her most recent role, she oversaw JLL’s global investment sales, debt and equity placement, strategic advisory and asset management services.
In addition, she holds board and membership positions at a number of organisations including Blackstone Mortgage Trust Inc, Cornell University Board of Trustees, World Travel & Tourism Council, IREFAC, and more.
