US: Acquisition, development and management company Valor Hospitality Partners has restructured its Americas division and appointed Craig Strickler as president.
Strickler joined Valor in 2018 as director of operations following more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. Previous operational roles were held with Charlestowne Hotels, Kokua Hospitality, and Hyatt.
His promotion to Americas president with Valor comes alongside nine additional vice president appointments as the department undergoes a restructure.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of such a dynamic organisation that puts its people and their growth at the forefront,” said Strickler. “I’m looking forward to helping lead the charge on growing Valor America’s portfolio with top-of-the-line partners and owners while continuing to support Valor’s global expansion.”
Euan McGlashan, co-founder and CEO of Valor Hospitality Partners, said: “This corporate reorganisation signals so much more than a title change. We have plans to double the size of the company globally in the next five years and this new structure will support that goal by investing in our ‘hotelitarians’ to continue to attract new partners and expand our portfolio here in the Americas and beyond.”
The restructure follows the company’s expansion into the Middle East and Central and South Africa.
Valor currently oversees an international portfolio of 90 hotels.
