Sweden: Revenue management software provider Atomize has appointed Michael McCartan as chief growth officer.

McCartan will take up his new position from January 2021. In this cross-functional role, he will be responsible for the development and delivery of the company’s global strategic objectives and for ramping up Atomize’s international expansion strategy.

He brings with him 20 years of experience in executive business development and delivery roles in the hospitality and revenue management technology fields.

“I am excited and feel honoured to have Michael join the Atomize management team. He possesses a unique and priceless track record in the revenue management field, and many recognise him as a leader in this space. While Michael will support our strategy of working with revenue management departments of larger hotels and hotel groups, his contribution will surely go beyond merely serving Atomize and will also contribute to building constructive dialogues in the revenue management community as a whole,” said Alexander Edström, CEO at Atomize.

McCartan said: “The possibilities unlocked by AI and cloud computing have brought us into a new era where the absolute best of human capabilities combined with the power and speed of sophisticated machines can create customer experiences we only dreamed of a few years ago. I´m utterly amazed by Atomize’s ability to develop a highly complex and sophisticated revenue intelligence algorithm and deliver it via an intuitive and user-friendly software solution. Atomize has understood what hoteliers and revenue managers need to operate in today’s and tomorrow’s hospitality landscape. I’m excited to be part of Atomize’s journey and support its continued global growth in the future.”
