UK: Philip Morris has been promoted to vice president of commercial at Dorchester Collection, effective immediately.
Morris first joined Dorchester Collection in 2013 as corporate director of revenue management. Four years later he was promoted to global commercial director.
In the newly created role of VP commercial, Morris all focus on business development, long-term value creation and driving brand equity. He will report to Helen Smith, chief customer experience officer.
Smith said: “Dorchester Collection has an ongoing commitment to enhancing guest experiences. Philip’s dedication to elevating guest centricity has been invaluable to the company. He has played an integral part in helping drive revenue, as we experienced our best quarter at the end of 2021, with the forecast showing an exceptional 2022. His passion never wavers and we are delighted to congratulate him on this promotion.”
The current portfolio includes the following hotels: The Dorchester, London; 45 Park Lane, London; Coworth Park, Ascot; Le Meurice, Paris; Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris; Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan; Hotel Eden, Rome; The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills; Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles and The Lana, Dubai (opening 2022).
Luxury residences include Mayfair Park Residences, London; The Residences and One at Palm Jumeirah, Dorchester Collection, Dubai.
