US: Kenan Jones has been named as the vice president of operations for Kirkwood Collection, a luxury hotel brand with a portfolio of boutique hotels across California.
Jones brings over 17 years of experience in senior leadership roles to Kirkwood, joining from The Hoxton hotel in downtown LA where he served as general manager.
Previously, Jones held other general manager positions at Act Hotel & Theatre in downtown LA and The Standard Hotel in New York’s East Village. He has also led three hotel opening teams including The W Hotel & Residences in Hollywood and The Standard Highline in Manhattan’s Meatpacking district.
In his career so far, Jones has been responsible for assets generating annual revenues in excess of $300 million and teams of over 150 employees.

Kirkwood Collection has a presence in Santa Barbara, Palm Springs and San Luis Obispo with five properties in total.
