UK: London-based hospitality company Lore Group has appointed Matthew Thomas as chief operating officer and Fiona Morgan as global director of sales, marketing and PR.
Thomas joins Lore Group from Timothy Oulton Hospitality Collection where he held the position of CEO. Prior to this, Thomas was general manager at Soho House where he served as general manager in New York and Istanbul before being promoted to COO of Soho House Europe in 2015.
In his new role as COO of Lore Group, Thomas will oversee the group’s hotels, restaurants and bars located across the United States, United Kingdom and The Netherlands.
Morgan ran her own consultancy firm for 10 years before joining Lore Group. During this time she worked with NoMad London, The Standard and Chiltern Firehouse in the UK, whilst also representing 14 independent hotel located in LA, Miami and London.
Previously, Morgan has also held the position of London regional director of sales and marketing for Morgan’s Hotel Group, as well as global director of sales for Como Hotels & Resorts.
