EU: Elisa Barral has joined the management team at L+R Hotels.
L+R Hotels is a private investment company that has a hotel portfolio of over 100 hotels, consisting of more than 20,000 bedrooms worldwide. The hotel group announced that Barral will become the director of asset management for its Mediterranean portfolio.
Barral has more than 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to the position she holds now, Barral was the general manager at Le Meridien Barcelona. Before that, Barral worked at Starwood Hotels for over 10 years.
At The Westin Marbella, she was a general manager. Then, she was the regional director of finance, responsible for 19 hotels across Spain and Portugal. She held this position for five years until she was promoted to transformation and special projects director.
As director of asset management, Barral will be responsible for L+R’s Mediterranean portfolio, including city and resort hotels. The collection includes Hotel Excelsior Venice Lido Resort and Nobu Ibiza Bay.
