US: Boutique hotel MOLLIE Aspen in Colorado has named Austin Luckett as the property’s general manager ahead of opening this winter.
Luckett brings 13 years of experience to the role, joining MOLLIE from The Resort at Paws Up in Montana where he held the role of director of lodging. He also gained senior level experience at the Grand Hyatt Macau and Dalian in China.
He said: “At MOLLIE Aspen I will provide operational leadership, including the identification and development of talent within our team, with a view of ensuring that MOLLIE takes its place as one of the premier properties in Aspen. I am currently in the process of budgeting, sourcing operating supplies and equipment, designing service concepts, developing training programs, defining MOLLIE’s culture, and recruiting the team that will bring our vision to life.”
MOLLIE Aspen is a new property developed by HayMax Capital. It features 68 bedrooms, a lobby bar and restaurant with year-round outdoor seating, an all-day cafe and a rooftop pool.
Interiors have been led by Post Company with architecture by CCY Architects. Gin & Luck, the team behind the Death & Co brand, will manage all F&B venues on-site.
The hotel is expected to open this December 2023.
