UK: Starhotels has named Eleonora Bortolato as hotel manager of The Pelham in South Kensington, London.
Bortolato joins The Pelham from Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square, where she was director of residences for four years. Prior to this, she was residential sales manager at the Four Seasons Private Residences at Palazzo Tornabuoni Firenze.
Bringing twenty years of luxury hotel experience to the role, Bortolato has also worked at properties including Hotel II Salviatino in Florence, Hotel Caesar Augustus in Capri, The Westin Excelsior in Venice and Forte Village Sardinia, as well as The Connaught in London.
Speaking about her appointment, Bortolato said: “I am thrilled to be joining The Pelham London and proud to be leading the operations of this wonderful property. The Pelham has a depth of character; tradition and modernity blend harmoniously in a colourful and vibrant atmosphere, while retaining that homely, private residence atmosphere. Starhotels owns and operates the 52-room The Pelham hotel, The Franklin and The Gore.
