Australia/New Zealand: Lachlan Hoswell has been named managing director of Australasia for Radisson Hotel Group.
In his new role Hoswell will lead Radisson’s growth in the region, which was recently named as a key strategic market in Radisson’s APAC expansion plan.
Hoswell most recently held the position of company director, general counsel and commercial officer of Minor Hotels Australia and New Zealand. Here, he helped negotiate hotel management agreements, hotel leases and franchise agreements, whilst also overseeing the legal and property asset teams.
Prior to this, Hoswell held leadership roles in APVC Holdings Pty Limited, a subsidiary of Accor, as well as Wyndham Vacation Resorts South Pacific and Daikyo Australia.
Speaking about his appointment, Hoswell said: “It gives me great pleasure to be joining Radisson Hotel Group at such an exciting juncture of the company’s growth. I look forward to working with the team, our owners and investors to leverage my extensive industry experience to provide the guidance and leadership needed to facilitate the group’s ambitious expansion plans.”
