UK: Peter Bell has been named as the first ever wellbeing manager at Rockliffe Hall, overseeing the property’s mental and physical wellness programme for staff and guests.
During his 11 years at Rockliffe Hall, Bell has worked as fitness coordinator and fitness manager. All together, he brings around 25 years of experience in the health and fitness industry to his new role.
As part of the transition, Bell has created three day retreats which will launch in September. Each will include four hours of switch-off time in the spa, a two-course lunch in the spa’s new restaurant Nu Sana, use of robe and slippers, alongside focus on a specific wellness area such as Nordic Walking or meditation.
The three retreats are:
• Learn to Nordic Walk Day Retreat
• Spa Garden Yoga & Meditation Day Retreat
• The Mind Recovery Day Retreat
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated, five-star resort set within 375 acres of grounds on the banks of the River Tees in County Durham. Amenities include a spa and outdoor spa garden, 18 hole golf course, several restaurants, and 61 guest rooms.
In 2018, the property opened Mischmasch – a Lewis Carroll-themed development featuring cabins, an eco-adventure playground, Looking Glass House for events, tennis courts and an interactive water feature.
Also available on-site is a range of activities from forest bathing, jogging trails, croquet, falconry, fly fishing, astronomy and more.
