EMEAC: Rosewood Hotel Group has named Victor Clavell as senior vice president of operations for Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Clavell joins from AMAALA, the ultra-luxury development project owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, where he served as chief operating officer.
Prior to this, Clavell spent 28 years with Marriott International. He began in managerial roles for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and worked his way up to vice president of the brand’s luxury portfolio in Asia-Pacific.
In the newly created role at Rosewood, Clavell will oversee the operations of the group’s properties in the region, execute profitability strategies, and develop talent.
His appointment comes as the company prepares to open Rosewood Vienna.
