UK: Located in Scotland’s Cairngorms National Park, The Fife Arms has appointed Marc Denton as general manager and Rachael Henley as hotel manager.
Denton and Henley will be responsible for managing and overseeing the hotel as it sets to launch new projects and enhanced guest services – including the recently opened whisky bar, Bertie’s.
Previously, Denton held various senior management positions at luxury resorts and wellness retreats, including Kamalaya and The Oberoi Group. He will replace Federica Bertolini, the hotel’s former general manager who left the hotel last year.
Henley began her role in December 2020 before the hotel closed due to lockdown restrictions. During this time she set up new service systems and updated standards and processes ahead of the hotel’s reopening in May 2021.
Prior to this, Henley was most recently food and beverage manager at Grantley Hall in Yorkshire and at The Idle Rocks Hotel in Cornwall.
The Fife Arms is a 46-bedroom property owned by Iwan and Manuela Wirth. In 2019 the hotel underwent a renovation, introducing the Albamhor Spa. Further information about the hotel can be found here.
