UK: Durrants Hotel in central London has specified Highgrade’s antimicrobial carpet cleaning treatments.
Ben Miller, managing director of the privately owned hotel in Marylebone said: “People want to feel like they are staying in a safe and clean environment when they stay in a hotel. We are keen to ensure that the hotel is as hygienic and as clean as possible. I think our clients deserve nothing less.”
Highgrade is a London-based provider of carpet and upholstery cleaning and hygiene treatments. It uses a specially-formulated protecting solution which includes an antibacterial additive to ensure the carpets stay hygienic for an extended period. The antibacterial element, provided by BioCote, protects the carpet by eliminating harmful bacteria and odour causing or staining organisms, prolonging the usable life of the carpet.
Bryan Cooper, managing director of Highgrade said: “In the future all hotels should be using technology like this to ensure their hotels are as hygienic as possible. I can see this becoming an industry standard in the not too distant future.”
