Aimbridge appoints chief global growth officer

Worldwide: Aimbridge Hospitality has welcomed Allison Reid to the newly created role of chief global growth officer.

Reid joins Aimbridge from Kimpton Hotels & Resorts where she served as chief development officer. Here, she led all the real estate development activities including sales and negation process for managed and franchised development, client relationships and asset re-positionings. 

Prior to Kimpton, Reid held a senior vice president role at Starwood Hotels and Resorts for development in North America. Other notable companies where Reid gained experience include Sheraton, Interstate Hotels, and W Hotels Worldwide.

Speaking about her appointment, Reid said: “This is an incredibly exciting time in our industry, with notable growth potential and emerging opportunities ahead. I look forward to building on Aimbridge’s momentum working with a dynamic team of the industry’s best talent on a global scale.”
