UK: The Richmond staple hotel, the Bingham Riverhouse, has announced a partnership with the award-winning chef today.
Steven Edwards, who won the 2013 season of MasterChef: The Professionals, will be making his first venture in London, ‘Steven Edwards at Bingham Riverhouse’ this March.
Edwards, after winning the contest at the young age of 26, began touring restaurants in the country working with exceptional chefs. He currently runs a restaurant in Hove, etch. which has won a Michelin Plate award and 3 AA rosettes.
He plans to bring his seasonal culinary approach to the Riverhouse, focusing on a la carte offerings rather than tasting menus. Edwards said of the partnership: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved in Hove so far, and with so much more to come there, this feels like the right way to continue to grow our portfolio”
This is next in a line of changes brought to the Bingham Riverhouse since 2019. The building serves as a multipurpose hotel and event space, with meeting rooms, restaurants and bar facilities.
General Manager Erick Kervaon said in a press release: “We’re very excited about collaborating with Steven. His dish innovation and eye-popping presentation is inspiring and we see a great fit with this and the next chapter of Bingham Riverhouse.”
Bookings for the new restaurant can be made at the Bingham Riverhouse’s website. For more information, check out our video interview with Ruth and Samantha Trinder, co-owners of the property.
