US: Geoff Gray has been appointed managing director and general manager ahead of The Global Ambassador’s opening in late 2023.
Gray most recently spent four years as general manager of the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Carlsbad, California. Prior to this, Gray served as general manager of the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overall, Gary has spent 12 years with Hyatt Hotels and has helped to launch several properties include Andaz Maui art Wailea, Andaz San Diego, and Hyatt Centric Park City.
In his new role, Gray will oversee 141-rooms at The Global Ambassador, as well as five dining venues, a members club, and fitness and wellness centre. The hotel is the debut luxury property from restaurateur Sam Fox, and will join the Author & Edit collection.
