UK: Steve Lewis will join the five-star Lainston House in Winchester as general manager this August.
Lewis, with over 14 years experience, has in the past worked with Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Harbour Hotels & Spas, Hotel du Vin, The Dorchester and Old Bank Hotel.
Previous to hospitality, Lewis spent 11 years in international sports marketing for agencies, brands and teams.
Speaking about his appointment, Lewis said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Lainston House and Exclusive Collection – a brand I have admired from afar both professionally and personally for a long time. Their reputation for guest experience, staff development and quality product are second to none, and I look forward to leading a fantastic team at Lainston into a new chapter of development.”

Lainston House, founded in 1983 by ex-Forte executive Guiseppe Pecorelli, is the second country property in Exclusive Collection. It sits on 63 acres of countryside and features a newly launched woodfired cooking restaurant, The Wellhouse, along with cooking school SEASON.
The Exclusive Collection portfolio comprises seven hotels.
