106 Jefferson Hotel appoints executive leadership team

USA: Hugo Reyes Duran and Mary Beth Lewis have joined the leadership team at 106 Jefferson Hotel, located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Hugo Reyes Duran has been appointed general manager and Mary Beth Lewis appointed director of sales and marketing at 106 Jefferson Hotel, a Curio Collection hotel by Hilton. The 115-room hotel is managed by Valor Hospitality Partners.

Reyes Duran will oversee the hotel’s opening process, day-to-day operations, guest relations, and staff management. Previously, Reyes Duran held leadership positions at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Starwood, and Gran Melia.

Reyes Duran said: “I’m excited to be a part of the team that will bring this one-of-a-kind property to the community of Huntsville and am eager to welcome both locals and travelers this summer. I look forward to drawing upon my past experience and the spirit of the community to cultivate a unique guest experience.”

Lewis will focus on client and community engagement, guest services touch points, and profitability. In the past, Lewis has worked for Marriott and Hilton.

Lewis said: “I am thrilled to open the doors to 106 Jefferson and welcome our community and travellers into a space we have carefully crafted to feel like a home away from home. I’m looking forward to working closely with Hugo and the greater team to continually surprise and delight guests at Huntsville’s first luxury boutique hotel.”

106 Jefferson Hotel has over 2,000 square feet of meeting and event space, featuring the Century Ballroom. It is located at 106 Jefferson Street South, Huntsville, Alabama.
