US: General manager at Fairmont San Francisco Markus Treppenhaur has announced the appointment of Kimberly Straube as the hotel’s director of operations.
Straube brings more than a decade of experience to her role, beginning as executive chef at Winding Hills Golf Course and Restaurant in New York.

I am confident that Kimberly will help guide the iconic San Francisco landmark to new heights of luxury and guest satisfaction.”
Fairmont San Francisco announced Treppenhauer as general manager in September 2020 when the hotel reopened. At the time, only certain facilities were able to operate albeit at reduced capacity.
